Chinese Character (2)

The marks carved on rocks 8000 years ago , are regarded as the first example of Chinese character,ancient Chinese recorded what they saw in the world by drawing.legends say that the Chinese characters are pictures which can be write. westerners often say that Chinese characters are pictographs. chinese-characters-001

The Chinese character 日 means sun in English; 山 means mountain.

水 means water.

林means forest;  象 means elephant.

马 means horse; 夫means man.

The picture below tell us: a man is riding a horse.

Here is the story. The man wanna across the river, but he can not swim, but there are some trees on river bank, how can he get the other side of the river?

The man gonna use saw cutting down tress to make a boat.

刀 means saw or knife. 舟 means boat.

After learned all those Chinese characters  above, here`s a “patting game ” for kids.two kids a group, one need  picking pictures from the page below to say a sentence or create a short story. another kid pat the picture following what the first kid said.

此次汉字课我们同样选取了一些非常简单的,适合初级阶段水平学生学习的汉字,借助图画辅助的形式,让学生轻松记住每个汉字的字形与意思。

此次课的创新之处在于所选汉字被组成了一个有趣的故事(此处只节选了课件的一部分),其中包含了需要学生思考的部分。拍词游戏也不同于以往一个学生说词,另一个学生拍。此次拍词需要其中一个学生用所给的图片说一个句子或讲一个小故事,另一个同学跟着他的故事拍取对应的词。

本次课堂游戏一是锻炼学生的创造能力,二是为下一次课学生自己创造故事和学写汉字打下基础。
